“USCIS gives away $10 million in grants for fiscal year 2016”

This year is also no different, as usual, USCIS department has announced almost $10 million in funds to help and support immigrants following the Citizenship Preparation Programs in 21 states.

“The latest update on immigrants: For the new immigrants who are looking for citizenship of USA now can prepare themselves for the permanent member of this great Nation with endless opportunities. USCIS has announced grants for immigrants that are living in the USA underfunding to 46 organizations. Available in 21 states, these organization will get federal funding to support citizenship of immigrants through their services till September 2018.”

This great initiative by USA government started in 2009, so far USCIS the Citizenship Grant program reached people awarding a total of $63 million approx. In 37 states through public and private nonprofit organizations including the district of Columbia. This year the program has helped almost 156,000 permanent residents for citizenship. As a result, it helped a lot of people to become a part of a nation that is so generous and kind and is bacon to the rest of the world. On this occasion, the Director of USCIS León Rodríguez said:” These organizations will assist and provide crucial services to the immigrants as they will be a part of a great American Dream with great opportunities.”

 This Grant program for USA citizenship is an important and integral part of USCIS efforts to help effectively the Immigrants with information’s and services and other public, private organizations. Multiple platforms are now offering immigrants help like Citizenship Resource Center. CRC is a web resource for people with material that will help them learn and guide to prepare for the process of citizenship.
